Recently one of our 10 year old beagles decided to spend the night away from home. We made a thank you card for the family that found him and took good care of him on his journey.

Look what I’ve just created out of a deck of cards. Three sets of Valentine’s cards for my girls to take to school and daycare. They are individially personalized and as cute as a button. I plan to punch a hole in each one, tie a red ribbon through it and tie it to a sweet treat for them to pass out to their friends. All of this and I didn’t even have to set foot in a store. You can create this too and there’s still time to do it. The best part is you don’t even have to start from scratch. If you have an account with Heritage Makers, which I can easily create for you, I can pass my template to you and all you have to do is change the names and pictures and ta-da, you’ve got your own customized Valentine’s cards. Be the talk of your child’s class Valentine’s party. Call or email me today. It’s so easy and lots of fun!!!

I am so excited because just this week I published my first Cornerstone book. What’s a Cornerstone book you ask? A Cornerstone book or story is one of the four pillars that make up the most important stories of your life. Some Cornerstone stories include your grandparents’ story, your parents’ story, your own love story, the story of your life (maybe leading up to becoming a parent) and lastly, your children’s stories. These Cornerstone stories shaped your family to become who they are today and will shape the future of your family. Everyone has a story to tell and needs to take the time to sit down and write it! So what is your story?
Check out my parents’ story. My mom wrote the story and I put together the book. The published copy should be coming in the mail any day now and my mom will be surprising my dad with the book a week from today, September 4, their anniversary. We can’t wait to see his reaction as he reads their love story!
This story was done in an 8×8 storybook using a Heritage Makers template! Click on the “Full Screen” button below to get a closer look.
